By year-end, learners analyze texts critically, write research reports with proper referencing, solve complex word problems, conduct simple scientific investigations, and present information orally with confidence. Study skills become second nature.

- Mathematics (core) — 5: Numbers to 100,000, percentages, ratio, algebraic expressions, geometry, measurement, probability
- Natural Sciences & Technology (core) — 4: Life and living, matter and materials, energy and change, planet Earth, technology design
- Social Sciences (core) — 3: History: ancient Africa and trade; Geography: climate, population, resources

Assessment Approach
Formal tests, research projects, oral presentations, and practical assessments across all subjects. Term marks reflect continuous assessment. Exam-style papers introduced for main subjects.
Parent Role
Transition toward consultant rather than teacher. You'll support time management, provide feedback on drafts, and facilitate access to resources. About 5 hours daily of learning time with increasing independence.
Teacher Support
