Embracing Subject-Based Learning

Grade 4 marks the shift to distinct subjects with their own textbooks and teaching approaches. It's a big change for learners and families. Our curriculum eases this transition with clear organisation and realistic expectations.

Quick Facts

Readiness Requirements

Strong Grade 3 completion with solid reading comprehension, independent writing, and confident calculation skills. If there are foundation phase gaps, we strongly recommend addressing them before starting Grade 4.

Learning Outcomes

By year-end, learners manage multiple subject notebooks, complete homework independently, research topics using various sources, write across different genres, and apply mathematical concepts to real-world problems. They'll develop study skills and time management.
